hmm...it's funny how you can find 1000 articles on the attacks but neither one specify where exactly the attacks took place :D probably do not want to lose clients :P

I am curious why the fascination?

Does it realy matter in which of the resorts the victims were staying in?
After all the attacks did not happen in the hotel but in the sea.

On a different note, could you introduce yourself. It is after all only polite when joining a new group of people.

There is a 1hr documentry on the attacks that aired here in Canada a couple of times already. Of the three people that got bit the Russian woman that suffered a loss of a limb says shes going to return to the sea, while the others said they will never return.
In the docu they mentioned the resorts, and the investigation that followed. It was a very interesting docu as they found out why the sharks were coming in so close to the beach.
Seems the kids feeding the fish creates a pulse that the sharks can sense. The water was also warmer than usual, which made food scarce. There was two types of shark that were responsible for the attacks, one shark the 'maco' ?? doesn't venture into shallow water, yet the bite marks were a perfect match. Also, the shark was in very poor health, and they concluded that it was due to a lack of food.

Another problem was the scuba dive shops taking people on shark feeding dives. They denied they feed sharks, and it was believed by investigators until a past tourist offered up his shark dive video showing the dive master pulling fish out from behind his back ,and the shark comes in from nowhere to eat the fish.
A fairly stupid thing to do as the shark will associate food with humans, they think this may be why sharks attack people in that resort area. Much like what happens when you feed any wild animal.

Personally people should be fearful of jellyfish, they'll kill you with a very painful death.

Hello Don

Nice to see you around on the board again.

I see you are very knowledgeable about wild life.

Are you still single or your wife has already arrived in Canada?
