Dear Froid

As an Ulster prodie ( Protestant) and born of a background with tenancies to be loyal to the Crown, I should be totally happy with this GREAT video...

Wearing my 'Irish' hat...I'd be pretty unhappy with the statement that Ireland is just a geographic land mas ..not a nation .... too many folks died of that 'debate' ... Generally speaking*, folk born on the island can have Irish passports.. :(

The vid overlooked ( and why not !) that the oft ( and best forgot trouble-makers from N.Ireland ) can't understand why the British Olympic team are referred to as Great Britain ?! [angry.gif]

Lastly, folk from N.I who are loyal to the Crown, are THE most ardent wavers of the Union flag.. as being 'British' is not something the Welsh and Scots ( generally) - and now the English - want to be thought of... the English have finally woken up to the fact that the UK pays out more public resources per head to the other three nations and vote in English affairs [surprised.gif]


So, I give the Vid 9.9 / 10 - and thank you ( and Mila!) for such an entertaining and educational 'find'n ;)

Indeed I will 'MAKE' Veta watch it and digest it [lol.gif]




* Recently changed to stop non Irish folk having a kid here and claiming rights to remain

9.9...high ranking indeed. I thought you never gave above an 8.

But you are right...it's not quite perfect but the video would probably have to be an hour longer to properly address the politics you raised. haha.

For it's length it gets across a ton of information. I've watched it several times just to properly digest it all.

Excellent video but the only thing I didn't like was the speed he was speaking with... [sad.gif]

Not that I missed much as I play it again..... but not very enjoyable for me.
