*Villamoura* !?

Why not take Hanna to Quateira and really 'impress' her .. This would NOT be a place I'd want to take Veta... sorry It's the LAST place *I'D* stop off at.. [embarrased.gif]

Moby

Don't worry as having a car to drive around it gives you the chance to see the place more leisury.

I agree with you that Villamura is ... a place that I will not go BACK AGAIN.... so we moved on, next stop at Quarteira and enjoyed the excellent promenedate and shopping there plus a little Carnaval atmosphere. Then yesterday moved on to Faro, not impressed...... and then to the fishing village of Olhao where we had excellent fish and enjoyed walking on the promendate.

Later on the way back went to see the Carnaval parades at the beatiful place Loule and I have many photos to entertain our friends Don and Vinnvinny. Nice dresses ala Brazil style..... [lol.gif]

Where the hell you found out that the poor pensioner wiz is posh, I don'r know. Albufeira is nice and enjoy staying in a 1 bedroom apartment....nice lounge and great balcony.

Weather changeable but apart from some small night rain... days are hot with sunshine.....

Better go now... Mrs wiz is walking down the stairs.... [wink.gif]

Have fun.

Dear Wiz, I have enjoyed reading about your very interesting holiday in Portugal and I'm glad you appear to be enjoying it.

However, what has any of this got to do with Russia abolishing visas?

Perhaps you should consider moving your holiday reminicences to a more appropriate and felicitous part of the forum.

Or failing that, at least make it more interesting.

Just a suggestion.

In fairness to me 95% of my time there was spent either shark fishing, on a golf course or in a bar called ‘The Captains Bar’ where a young Meryl Streep look-a-like worked and I fell in love on a nightly basis. [embarrased.gif]

Well

if you think having a separate bedroom and living room is posh... then we done well.. [rolfsmall.gif]

Anyway, it was nice while it lasted..... we both had a great time, trevelled the length from one side, on the west, (the end of the old world), to the other side in the east of Algavre and also visited briefly, due to the weather, a little town in Spain.

Weather lasted and been very good most of the days apart from 2 nights rain and also the last afternoon there..... so we were very lucky.

Going to update my thread later.... and post more photos but just for you... [wink.gif] here is a small selection! I am sure you will like the photos from the Carnaval (not a spelling mistake [tonque.gif] ) in Loule! [lol.gif]

Thanks for the pics Wiz. Seems like you got a bargain with that hotel. I still don't know why you and moby are so negative about Vilamoura .. maybe I am too common. [sad.gif]

I was looking for your boat [tonque.gif] ..... but Mrs wiz could not stand the place........and wanted somwhere to eat with normal prices and good view to the sea... and not to high rise blocks..... [bad.gif]

Probably it's because I don't play Golf too! [rolfsmall.gif]

Looks rather cool out Wiz judging by the people in the background. I wonder if the headhighlights on her costume were shining through well enough for a pleasant photo?

Sorry Don

but my camera is not fast enough to catch up with her movements...... [sad.gif]

Lucky to manage and get some clear photos........as their dance was very frantic...... and you mustn't forget "big brother" was next to me....... so I could not invest more time for clearer shots. [lol.gif]

But it was very enjoyable fun to see them al dancing and parading!

[glad.gif]
