15 December - Turbo's 3 years wedding Anniversary

With all the Christmas and other holiday and family preparations, shopping and Christmas and New Year celebrations, mustn't forget to mention that at my old age becoming forgetful, I missed to remember a very important day and I must apologise to Turbo and his wife.

Three years ago, Turbo and Iren finally got married on the 15 December
and started their married life, living in USA.

Image and Iren, please accept my sincere
congratulations on your 3rd wedding anniversary!

Best wishes to you both on your anniversary,
May the love that you share last your lifetime through,
As you make a wonderful pair.

Marriage is that relation between a man and a woman in which
The Independence is Equal, the Dependence mutual and
The Obligation Reciprocal...
Happy Anniversary

Back at the old days on RWD, I followed the story and the big adventure details of Turbo's and his wife.......

I remember that everybody there told him that it will not last, especially JB who predicted that they will not be together more than 3 years , due to the huge age gap and were also some people offering bets for a 3 year anniversary! [biggrin.gif]

Well Turbo and Iren have defied all the odds and they are still happily married and I hope they will continue for many more anniversaries and years to come.

I hear that Iren has done and still doing very well with her University studies, keeps him busy and also take care of him, to keep in the straight a narrow and I expect by now they have moved to a new house.

I also noticed that she still keeps an eye on his postings on the boards.... [lol.gif] [lol.gif] [lol.gif]
and would be nice to see her around here too!

I am trying to imagine his face dropping, when he met Iren...... and she told him
that all the time they were communicating she has visited every board
and has read all his posts.... so she knew him very well by then! [surprised.gif]

[hahaha.gif]

First off I would like to thank everyone for the good wishes. I do think there were no shortage of people who would have bet that we would not make it but here we are.

Iren is still doing great in her studies. Another semester begins in a week. I have to say she has surprised me with how well she has done. When she took "Public Speaking" I would have bet she could not pull off an A in that one but she did. So far she has a 4.0 average and usually has the highest scores in her class on once had the highest scores in the history of the course so yes, she has done very well.

No, we haven't moved into the new house yet. We are still living in the 110 year old house I bought for $ 3900.00 about 15 years ago. We have one house up for sale (the one I grew up in). When it sells we will start the serious house hunting and put the one we are in now up for sale.

I do think this could be a challenging year for us. She plans to drop out of school for a year and work in my business. I could see that putting creating some challenges for us but we will see.

Yes, I was a bit of a shock when I was in Barnual for the first visit and found she had read every one of my then nearly 4000 posts on RWD. We were in side splitting laughter until 4 am over that one.

It has been a great 3 years and I have loved every minute of it. Thanks again for all the good wishes.

Well Wiz, you did remember it anyway so thank you very much. Yes, this December marked 8 years. Things are still going well. Iren finished her schooling a week or two before our 8th anniversary and maintained a perfect 4.0 average through all her courses. We bought a newer house a month before our anniversary. I always liked the one we had been in despite the fact I bought it for taxes for $ 3900.00 but Iren never liked it as well as I did. So on November 20th we took ownership of a 9 year old house with 2500 sq. ft. I have to do some work on the house we were in and we plan to put it up for sale in the Spring. The house we were in was 115 years old but had a lot of character. I am tired of working on old houses though. We are both still happy being together and we should be celebrating a few more of those anniversaries in the future.

Glad to hear your news and that everything is fin so Hanna and me, we wish you...
Happy New year to both of you!

I wish you and hope that you have many such celebrations.

Hanna, as usual still working.... for herself now and makes the same money with less effort. Small problem is when working for your self.... difficult to take many holidays off.....

We had a great tome at Christmas, with her mother here.....

All the best for now and keep in touch.
