Hi Wiz, I hope you are feeling much better by now!!

My friend once recommended an epidural to me for back pain, but I have yet to get one. I usually just wait and also go to the chiropractor.

A couple of times it was so bad I went to the ER and they gave me percocet.

Morning all

Today I am feeling much better and I can walk straight [biggrin.gif]

Later I am going for an MOT starting my plan to get healthier and hopefully slimmer, after I start visiting the gym......

Of course I look forward going to Kos again......... and no need for chiropractor there.... rubi! [veryhappy.gif]

PS: I hate taking any kind of Medicine and prefer my own body resistance to fight back!

I think we all prefer natural healing but if you are really in pain a shot of percocet or an epidural can provide much much needed relief.

I fractured my L5 (hairline fracture but still very painful) in High School doing Gymnastics, so there is sometimes much pain in that area due to strained nerves and muscles.

I also had several whiplashes (diving into a lake which was 3 feet lower due to drought which I did not notice I hit my head on bottom of lake be so hard that my head was bleeding and my head went nearly all the way back) from sports and two car accidents.

When I first went to the Chiropractor he showed me the X-ray and there was severe Scoliosis (twisting of the spine back and forth from neck down--the neck was really badly cocked to one side). After about 3 months of treatment we did a follow up X-ray and the improvement was amazing!!

A really good Chiropractor IMO is a Godsend!!

Wiz,

Hope that back is back to normal as I can relate. About twice a year my back goes out and I age about 50 years in 15 seconds, but the positive news is that it always returns back to normal with time.

Morning all

Yes back is nearly back to Normal....... finishing my MOT tests later this morning and then.... off to the Gym to start walking and hopping to loose few kilos.........

Meanwhile and while the cat is away [wink.gif] ..... I am trying again to stop my smoking and haven't had a cigarette since last Wednesday but it's hard and I'll see how it goes this week! I am only doing my best after 40+ years of smoking! [embarrased.gif]

I hear the nicotene patch is a good way to get weaned off of cigarettes.

I am happy to hear you are hitting the treadmill and I hope after a few days of it you will feel the additional energy it can give to you!!

Monday in the Gym.......and see how it goes..........

and for your info since last wendsay evening, over a week ago, I only smoked sporadically 5 cigarettes ........ without patches or anything else!

Today Hanna is coming back home and sure enough will be happy to see me not smoking like before... 30 - 40 a day! I can only try my friend......... and I hope I can succeed after so many years of smoking!

I didn't know you were ill, Wiz. Hope you recover completely.

Try yoga once your back is better. It can do wonders.

Good luck with quitting smoking!
