The end of US Erdogan & Incirlik
The US is building three bases inside Syria

The US buys hundreds of acres in Kobane for a third base. the US military finalized the process to build third military base in PYD-controlled areas on northern Syrian near the border with Turkey.

New geopolitical conditions have been created in the Middle East, according to the revelations of the Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak, journalistic organ of Turkish president Erdogan. Based on the information published, the United States buy hundreds of hectares of land in Syrian territory, in the Cobani region, near the border with Turkey to build a military base and an airport that practically will render useless the hitherto hugely important air base of Incirlik, in southern Turkey.

According to reports, the US bought the area from the Kurdish PYD, for about $ 800,000, but everyone is looking for other kinds of trade-offs that may have secured.

The newspaper said, citing Syrian sources that Americans have purchased a total area of at least 1,200 acres and the Kurds gave for free even 400 acres.

The Americans building a military base near the village Sechmpet south of Campani, and the US Air Force base will be build 20 km away to the village Charamp.

This will be the third US military base in the PYD-controlled area of northern Syria, following the airbases in the oil town of Rmeilan in al-Hasaka province and Sehbet village of the southeast of Kobane.

This area actually extends between Kobane and Euphrates River and is only 21 km. from the Turkish border.

These developments are of particular importance because:

  • The construction of US bases in the Kurdish areas controlled by the PYD-YPG, which the Turks describe as terrorist organizations will hinder substantially Ankara to try new military strikes in the area.

  • Completely eliminates the utility of the Turkish base of Incirlik and therefore limits the geopolitical value of Turkey in the Middle East, finally crushing the hegemonic designs of the ne-othoman Ankara's leadership team.

  • The US gain their foothold in the region by controlling developments and Russian involvement there.
